Taryn Hendricks has nearly 25 years of personal, one-on-one health and wellness experience, including 20+ years in nursing as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), and a deep passion for transforming lives. She earned her Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), generally considered the most comprehensive, highest echelon program in the industry. Between these direct health-related positions / certifications and other personal endeavors, she can draw on a wide range of life experiences to interact effectively with clients from just about any walk of life:
- Gained initial experience as a personal trainer at Crunch Fitness. Highly satisfied clients ranged from a 25-year old pre-Med student to a 36-year old professional dancer to a married couple in their 80s trying to stay active and fit after a battle with cancer.
- Provided 20+ years of compassionate nursing care (as an LPN) and exceptional customer service in some of the most demanding environments in healthcare, including senior rehab, nursing facilities and hospice. Delivered effective education to patients and their families in an emotionally charged environment, often despite challenging diagnoses and having to overcome barriers such as language, literacy, cultural dynamics and physiological limitations.
- Developed communication and client engagement expertise as a Mrs. America (State Level) Pageant Winner, Coach and Judge. Also gained notoriety for using nursing skills to save another contestant from a poisonous snakebite at national pageant.
- Started and operated multiple entrepreneurial businesses including Payday Cash and Bail Bonds.
- Happily married and mother to 3 beautiful children.
