During this time, I saw significant improvements in my strength, noticeable increases in the size of my biceps and chest, and lost inches around my thighs, neck, and waist. She introduced me to a whole new world of weightlifting techniques, teaching me the value of free weights through exercises like the military press, bench press, incorporating dumb bells and showing me how to target specific muscles with creative combinations, such as working triceps and biceps together.
Taryn also emphasized the importance of a strong core and made sure to incorporate engaging and challenging cardio exercises into our sessions, keeping the workouts fresh and effective. I noticed the effects of our workouts in my daily life—I felt stronger and more capable while working in the yard, and my overall stamina and strength greatly improved. As an added bonus, I found myself really enjoying eating again, with a renewed focus on nutrition.
